Eduardo Iniestra aka DJ kaboom "A native of Mexico city… relocated here in the states and found his passion for music and love for the So.Cal scene. Involved in many different ways focused and committed his energy and passion into djing and producing. After spending countless days dropping long dj sets and figuring out the world of production on his own, he released a white label single on his own record label OUTSIDER RECORDINGS at the age 19 "Reactivate" and "Signs" selling out all limited copies in local dj stores. Throughout the years he has continued to evolve musically and has been an avid supporter of music. He started an arts and music program for the youth in the city of Costa Mesa where he instructed djing, drumming, music production at no cost, and in his free time he continued to push his original music through many different styles including two of his personal favorite genres - Drum and Bass and Hip Hop.
Edifica is an MC born in Distrito Federal, Mexico.
He turned into a representative of his people in
the U.S. Beginning his career through his passion for hip-hop as a DJ, he then began producing his own music. Today, he uses a microphone as a weapon and as a tool to motivate others and break through the stereotypes. He constantly gives his heart and soul to place the name of Mexico very high by supporting his people and using music, lyrics, and his own activism in the community. Edifica means to take the hard work and the responsibility to instill and back up a movement on consciousness and virtue through the culture of hip hop. Hip hop is love, it’s the constant fight for what you want, for justice, for mutual respect, for the equality of women, to set an example for future generations, to be united, to not have borders, for wisdom and progress, for freedom of speech, it is simply my life. It means to build a better tomorrow with all these elements. Edifica is the birth of something new. Hip hop, Latin@s, let’s rise together!
